Hereby we present the release notes of features released in the first months of 2024.
All listed features are published inside your own SoccerLAB environment or will be on short notice.
Inside this overview, we show the most important new features and changes, but we have also made
several smaller improvements.
Be aware that not all features might be in your environment yet.

Security
MFA
The goal of SoccerLAB is to store data in the most possible secure environment possible.
So therefore we have developed our own MFA (Multi Factor Authentication).
Meaning and End-user needs and Authenticator app on his mobile phone to be able to login to the platform.
Also our apps have MFA integrated.
Power BI → Advanced reporting
Edge10 specialism
Due to the additional manpower coming from the Edge10 group we are continously working on improving our default set of Power BI reports.
The data scientist are highly experienced from multiple sports and therefore bringing in a lot of knowledge and a library of over 350 report templates.

General Features
Additional comments widget for Player and Staff
A new very useful widget can be added to the Internal and External profile.
This widget can filter out “Additional comments” related to a certain “Category”, which can be defined inside the setting of the widget.
The widget can also be added to the Dashboard of the player him/herself.
Good examples of splitting the “Additional comments”

Info about Private situation
Info about Transportation
Etc.
Also the Container of ALL “additional comments” has been improved
In the header of the “Additional comments” tab in the player profile we have added a filter option:

In this screen you can also manage the “Additional comment”-> Categories
Which you will need inside the settings of the widget.
CRM widgets on player profile
Several new widgets are available related to the detailed info of the player (and the external player):
Own address
Parental address
Contacts address
Player information
Personal identities
Seasonal information
Sorting teams inside the menu
A setting is added so teams can be sorted differently.
New sorting options:
Group “Virtual teams”
Show or Hide Year of birth
Tournaments as hyperlink
Not all tournaments were clickable and redirecting to the tournament details.
This has now been solved by making them ALL clickable.
Module 03: Video Analysis
XML format conversion
A webtool is created to convert an XML file from a certain provider into a SoccerLAB format, where it is straight away possible to map players
We do need to spend some time per customer to set up the conversion tool, so please check with your consultant the possibilities if you are interested.

Module 04 - Team training
View modus in Content tab
Inside the View modus of the Content tab we have added an option to only show certain “Views”
Meaning, by doing this we can force end-users to work in certain structure.
By hiding one or more options within the View modus

Team training widget
The widget now also shows the scheduled training appointments for the upcoming 5 days and a button to go to the FULL list of team trainings for the specified team.
GPS reporting
A new default Power BI report is created.
This report is able to show the KPI’s from providers like Catapult

Inside the default template, we have “hidden” tabs that are not needed.
EDIT mode of a training
On the other hand we have added tabs to the EDIT mode of a training, to make the flow more understandable.

An additional field is available to create your dropdown within the Exercises in the CONTENT tab.
Module 06 - Medical
Performance status
Inside the Current State screen a column is added for Performance staff to show their advice about a player status
Remarks in colors
The remarks inside the Current state are marked with a color setting.
Red means it is related to an OPEN Injury
Current state button
The “Current state” button is now available for multiple roles via the Dashboard management system
Filter by “Tags” in the advanced search of Injuries
The option to filter by “Tags” is added to the advanced search inside the Injury list
Widget to show “Open” injuries per seasonal team
A new widget is created showing the “Open” injuries for the team selected
Module 09 - Scouting
Players having minutes
When Evaluating/Scoring/Rating player from a game, only players having minutes are shown by Default.
Scouting planner MO → SU
The scouting planner shows the week from MONDAY to SUNDAY
Documents widget for External player
The widget to show the “Documents”, is now also available at the External player profile
Show information about the Category
When filling in a report the “i” shows information about the category (as a guideline)
Module 12 - Player Development
Given and Perspective score are hidden
When inside the template it is marked to HIDE the Given and Perspective score, this is now also hidden inside the BULK input of reports
Filter for Regular and Non-Regular players
Also a filter is added to only show the REGULAR players by default
Additional info inside the Personal development visual widget
3 settings have been added to the widget:
Creation date of the report
Created by
Compared to previous report
Wellbeing widget
Show names of players who did NOT fill in the wellbeing today
Show information of a Category
Via the “i” button, the information related to the Category can be seen.
Tasks shows template info
Inside the Task we show the info about the “Related template”
Previously we showed the name of the player.
Kanban
Within the upcoming period we also will try to improve the usage of the Kanban.

Due to new technologies we are currently creating a new engine for our mobile apps.
This will help us in the near future with adding new features in an easier way.
Also the stability and speed will be increased.
Some smaller improvements and frictions will be taken into account along this process.
We are always improving our back-end technologies to make sure the system is performing as expected.
