Hereby we present the release notes of features released in the first weeks of 2025.
All listed features are published inside your own SoccerLAB environment or will be on short notice.
Inside this overview, we show the most important new features and changes, but we have also made
several smaller improvements.
Be aware that not all features might be in your environment yet.

Security
Password expire date
Besides the MFA (for external users) an “Expire days” option has been added.
So users are forced to change the PW after a certain amount of days.
Power BI → Advanced reporting
Edge10 specialism
Due to the additional manpower coming from the Edge10 group we are continuously working on improving our default set of Power BI reports.
The data scientists are highly experienced in multiple sports, bringing with them a lot of knowledge and a library of over 350 report templates.

New Game report
A new look and feel and more interesting KPI’s are added to the new Game report.
Generic improvements
Nationalities
We found out that the Flags of the Nationality were not displayed consistently all over the platform.
So the dev team made fixes to show it properly overall.
Seasonal team related to a player
Another big fix that has been made is consistency in the Seasonal team we display inside the player header:

Show a count in Attendance
Dashboard management
For the key users a huge improvement in Dashboard management is added.
We show the “Owner” and “Owning Business Unit” and created options to “Assing and Share” a dashboard.
This makes it possible even to create a Dashboard for a single user.
Also when embedding a Power BI report we now can show/hide the specific dashboard.
Merge of a player
It was not always clear which player would be the leading one when executing a MERGE.
So therefore we have added a BIN and SAVE icon to indicate which player will be deleted and which player to keep.
Of course, ALL related data of BOTH players will be shown within the ONE player profile after the merge.
Module 04 - Team training
Team training widget
The Action Menu now has additional options to “Create” a group training from the widget straight away.
Absence and Partly trained
The columns to “Select” a player first are deleted.
So now only a reason needs to be selected.
When selecting a reason in one of the 2 columns, the other column automatically is blocked for selection.
Attended staff
The same rules apply to the Attended staff tab
Save per exercise - New compact
For a better user experience a “Save per exercise” is added to the “New compact” modus inside the Content tab.
Tags and owner in advanced search
Inside the list view of Training exercises the option to search by “Tags” has been added.
Module 06 - Medical
Anthropometry
When filling in new Anthropometry records for a whole team, a pop-up has been put in between for a “Player selection”.
So not always all players are automatically selected.
Module 09 - Scouting
Player inside a shadow team?
In the scouting planner, we show an ICON if the player is added to an “Active” Shadow team.
A scouting task has more details
Show additional info inside a scouting task about “Planned players”.
The additional tab shows details of the planned players in relation to Reports and Shadow teams.
Improved “Text balloon” in games
When adding Notes to a Player, the box to enter the text is now shown as a pop-up.
This makes it a lot more convenient to enter text.
A balloon will indicate DARK when text is entered, and the text is shown, when you hoover the balloon.
Hide text box for criteria
A setting to “hide” the text box for Score / List / Time / Number criteria has been added.
So inside a config file we can determine which boxes need to be hidden.
Of course for criteria type “Text” this is not possible.
Loading time of the list view
When enlarging the number of reports displayed, the system was pretty slow.
The back-end calls to get the reports have been minimized to increase speed.
Copy details of a report
When you create a report and want to create a second one of the same game, having the same Source and Template, an option to “Copy” those details is added by using the “Create another” button

Calendar filter to show a Calendar based on “Persons”
Ea, you can visualize the Coaching Staff weekly overview, Scouting schedule per week, etc.
Module 12 - Player Development
Prefill the template
On top of the Player profile a widget to show the Player Developement reports related to a certain template can be added.
Now the Template is pre-filled when you start creating a new report from the widget.
Kanban
Within the upcoming period we also will try to improve the usageSorting of the

The players are sorted by POSITION and then ALPHABETICALLY when you fill in a report for a whole team
Apps
Due to new technologies, we are currently creating a new engine for our mobile apps.
This will help us in the near future with by adding new features in an easier way.
Also, the stability and speed will be increased.
Some smaller improvements and frictions will be taken into account along this process.
